Privacy Policy

Account details: your mobile number, password, full name, gender, and date of birth, collected at registration.

Profile details: district, city, height, religion, caste, ethnicity, education, profession, habits, bio, family information, and any photos you upload.

Verification documents: your NIC number and ID images, only if you choose to submit them for verification.

Usage information: messages you send to matches, likes and interest requests, and login activity, used to operate the platform's core features.

We use your information to create and display your profile to other members, power search and matching, send you notifications about likes, matches, and messages, process membership payments, and keep the platform safe by reviewing reports and verification requests.

A limited public teaser (first name, age, district, and general profession) is visible on our homepage to attract new members. Full profile details are visible only to logged-in, registered members.

Your private photos and direct contact details are never shown automatically — they are only shared with another member after you approve their specific photo or contact request, or once you are mutually matched.

Your data is stored on Supabase's secure, access-controlled infrastructure. We use row-level security policies so that private information — photos, contact details, and messages — can only be accessed by you and the members you've approved.

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your profile and associated data. Accounts left inactive for 2 months after a paid membership expires may also be deleted automatically, with a warning notification sent 45 days in advance.

We share the minimum information necessary with service providers who help us run Pinkfinity — for example, SMS providers for OTP verification and account notifications. We do not sell your personal information to third parties or advertisers.

You can access and update most of your information at any time from your profile and settings pages. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to correct or delete it by contacting support@pinkfinity.lk.

Pinkfinity is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
